Findings from the ‘Faster Read’ from the University of Sussex show that pupils can cope with demanding material and indeed relish it.

To help all pupils access a rich, demanding curriculum, I am creating planning units which embed the research.
Starting with history in Year 7, I’ve created teaching resources and pupil booklets which have high quality texts at their heart.
