Sensible stuff, no quick fixes
Dear colleague
Here are some links that I hope you find helpful:
There’s been a great deal of commentary about Adolescence: Steve Willshaw and Matt Pinkett had some conversations about toxic masculinity, helpful for dealing with this in schools. You can view this for free if you sign up for a free account on Myatt & Co here.
New webinars on Myatt & Co:

We’re adding new resources to support ongoing professional learning for you and your colleagues.
First up is the popular Curriculum Leaders course.
We created the Curriculum Leaders course for colleagues looking to develop their curriculum leadership either as a subject leader in secondary or subject co-ordinator in primary.
Work on the curriculum is never ‘done’!
Curriculum work is a process of iteration and improvement, and it needs to be developed and improved over time.
The course has 8 easy to access modules and we’ll be releasing each session on a weekly basis.
You can access the course with an annual or group subscription to Myatt & Co.

I’ve had several conversations recently about the tricky business of assessment! In primary there have been lots of questions about how to make judgements about how pupils are getting on in the foundation subjects. So, I’ve run a series of assessment webinars which are now available on The Teachers’ Collection.
If you think there’s someone who would appreciate this update, you can forward the link here.
Until next time
