Dear colleague
Here are some links I hope you find helpful:
We’ve just published the first unit for KS3 The Ambitious Years: Yr 7 The Norman Conquest. The Ambitious Years set out to position KS3 as the intellectual powerhouse of the secondary school! This is the start and we’ll be publishing more resources across the subjects. You can access the teacher resources and pupil booklets on Myatt & Co with a single annual or group subscription.
No More Marking will shortly be launching an exciting new AI-assisted essay assessment on the Norman Conquest. The assessment will take place in the autumn of 2025 and is for Year 7 students. If you'd like to find out more, register your interest here.
If one of your school priorities is developing literacy across the curriculum, there are primary teacher resources, book suggestions and subject knowledge development on The Teachers’ Collection. I’ve had several conversations recently about the tricky business of assessment of the foundation subjects in primary. So, I’ve run a series of assessment webinars which are now available on The Teachers’ Collection.
New webinars on Myatt & Co:
High challenge, low threat in the classroom: if we want all pupils to attempt demanding content, it’s helpful to think about how we create an atmosphere where difficult work is relished rather than resisted!
There are new recordings to show how it’s possible to provide all our pupils with gorgeous, accessible content in geography, history and RE
You can access the webinars with a single annual or group subscription to Myatt & Co.
There are also new recordings on Child Exploitation and Muslim Diversity and improving religious literacy in the RE classroom.
New webinar on Finding My Voice on Adolescence
It takes a village…a response to Netflix drama ‘Adolescence’ A new webinar on Finding my Voice with Emmanuel Awoyelu, Christian Foley, Rachel Higginson and Mary Myatt covers…
